The name Chakrasamvara means Supreme Bliss of the Wheel.
The central deity of the mandala, Sa?vara, is a form of Heruka (semui wrathful guardian figure), one of the principal yidam or meditational deities of Tibetan Buddhism.
Samvara is typically depicted with a blue-coloured body, four faces, and twelve arms, and embracing his consort, the wisdom dakini Vajrav?r?h? in Yab-Yum.
